Santa brought CB and JP new bikes for christmas. They both have gears now. We finally took the bikes out for a ride today. I say finally, because it has been raining a lot up here over the last week.

Miley decided that the garden was the best place, after the rain, to make her escape attempt. She is obviously trying to dig her way to China.

My Birthday has come around again. The Big 40 this year. Life is good. Thanks to everyone for coming along to celebrate.

We went for a trip down to Mum's place today to catch up with our Northern contingent of family. RDJ has grown up soooooo big. See mum I told you I am an Angel. CB loves her little cousin.... CB read a story to RDJ and JP....

Today we were visited but AA, SML, DML, K-LK,IB and CB to join us watching an waving to the participants. Some of the bikes as they went past.... One of the Trikes ......

Today I took the Girls and SML (otherwise known as nerd boy) up to the Global Arts Link to play at the construction Site. After the Destruction of the recently built house Get ready..... get Set...... Jump Ahhh..... That was much fun.

CB lost her first tooth today. She asked me to pull it out for her. The next one isn't far off coming out either.

CB was invited to her friends' birthday party at Leichardt Pool We havn't seen the twinnies for a while, so it was great for CB to catch up with them.

AL, UD and Danger Mouse came to Brissie for two days for a conference and we were able to catch up with them for a couple of hours. Uncle, Cousins and the Danger Mouse ..... Aunty, Cousins and the Danger Mouse ..... Father and Son ..... Cousins..... Mum and Bub ......

The Global Arts Link in Ipswich has set up a construction Zone where kids can go to build things with big foam bricks Below is CB's final effort. Her Castle

Tonight is the Brassall Carols in the Park, not to mention our 16th wedding anniversary. We started off the night by the girls and I scouting a good possie early. Then we got an ice cream, which inevitably goes all over JP's Face. Then onto some rides.... before settling in to our front row centre position for a night of carolling fun.... then finishing up with an awesome fireworks display.

Brissie Christmas Tree Relocated , originally uploaded by EclipseAu . ]Brisbane City Council have moved the Chrissie Tree back to King George Square now that the remodelling of the square was completed. They have also made it solar powered.

JP's School held its annual awards night on the 25th November 2009.  Nanny, Poppy and Grandad also came along to support her. Even though she didn't recieve an award, she put her hand up to be in to performances on the night. The first was the play "What if Jesus was born Today" And the second, as a part of the years 4 and 5 Voice speaking Choir doing a rendition of "Itchy Itchy Chicken Pox" Awesome work JP

Today we took a trip down to Tallebudgera Creek on the Gold Coast. The girls like it there as there are no big waves to knock them about.

On Thursday, CB invited me along to her class's Liturgy at St Mary's Cathedral in Ipswich. ST Mary's Church , originally uploaded by EclipseAu . I waited outside the church for CB to arrive. Then we all waited inside the church for the teachers to organise the kids. The kids sang Hymns CB saying her speaking part in the Liturgy Afterwards we gathered outside the church for some morning tea. and caught a picture of the whole class.

Well, we decided to go for a bit of a Sunday drive. We were originally going to head out to Wivenhoe Dam, but on further research we found out that dogs are not allowed out there.  So we settled on Atkinson's Dam instead. When we got there, we were surprised to see how many Seadoo's were there.  One lot were using their Seadoo's to tow people around on wake boards. At one stage I couldn't see CB, and when I called out her name all I heard was giggling from the back of the car.  When I went over there this is what I saw. After lunch we went for a bit of exploration along the shoreline of the dam to find a place where we could let Miley of the lead for a bit of a run.  Now, I don't understand why people make soooooo much fuss about having a 4WD.  Mate the Tiida has it all over them.  She went through the wilderness like a trooper, and now the underside shines like a mirror from the buffing she got from all the grass.
