Fire on the Horizon

Here is today's Pic of the Day. A pic looking out of the southern end of my building. The big fire behind the building in the pic was a car yard, at Rocklea, on fire ( Simms Metal ). You can also see the "Eye of Brisbane" (ferris wheel) in the forecourt of Southbank. Catch Ya L8R.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
