Father's Day Outing to Fernvale.

Father's day again today, an we had the pleasure of Grandad and Annie's company.

We thought a nice meal at the Old Fernvale Bakery would be the way to celebrate the day.

After our meal we took a wet stroll down the road to an Craft Gallery / Antiques / Tea Rooms just down the side road near the Bakery. We listened to an old wax phonograph from 1904. It was amazing, the owner told us that in 1904 that Phonograph cost approximately 50 weeks wages.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
