Friday Night saw us take Grandma and Grandpa in to South Bank to have a look at the markets.

We had a look at the Eye of Brisbane but decided against having a ride due the exorbitant prices.

We saw a sand sculptor on Breaka Beach plying his trade and when NP took GM & GP for a look at the markets I took the girls for a swim.

Little did we know that it would take so long to get home. Queensland Rail scheduled rail works on the Ipswich line and we had to catch a bus home from Goodna Station.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
