While I was waiting for the bus this morning (which was late again) I seized the opportunity to snap a pic of my new umbrella.

It was good to see some rain again as the land around our place was starting to get a bit brown and crunchy.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
