Day trip to Cooby Dam

Today we took a family trip to Toowoomba
First stop was lunch at sSs Steakhouse. NP and I shared a chicken burger. It was YUM.
Next stop ended up being Cooby Dam just outside of Highfields



We then drove down to the picnic area, it was a picturesque setting and very quiet...

There was a great playground here for the kids...

I thought at least one of them would end up in the mud.

on the way back we stopped at the wall again to walk across it, just as we got all the way across it started to Rain and we got wet again.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
