A Special Visit

We had a big surprise this week.  Aunty C and my little sis came for a visit all the way from Rockhampton.  It has been 4 years since we have seen them and it was awesome to catch up again.

then we went for a tour of Nerima Gardens (Japanese Gardens in Queens Park) where NT had one of the girls attached to her at the hip at all times.

After the gardens we took a quick tour of the nature centre where we saw Wallabies ....

So I says to Anna, "Let's go Anna."

and a couple of frisky goannas.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
