Smythville at Curtis Falls

Every New Years Day we go for a drive somwhere in the Great South East.

Today's destination was Mount Tamborine.

I wanted to get some decent Pics, but alas, the weather saw to it that my camera stayed put in the camera bag.

There was a brief lull in the rain that allowed me to snatch this pic.

Just after this picture it really pissed down and we got soaked to the skin.

One other highlight of the trip was Mumma getting a leach on her.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
