CB had the day off with me (flex day) because she was (cough, cough)

sick. I think it was more likely she was just a bit tired and wanted a

day off school. But who am I to judge. I'm not a doctor. So here is a

pic of her in all of her sickness glory outside the bilby enclosure at

the local park.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
