Today, we went to Mum's place for a visit. It was a very warm day, so most of us ended up in the pool.

Aunty A spent a lot of time helping CB with her water confidence. By the end of the day she was even opening her eyes under water, which she would never do before.

We had a barbecue for lunch (no Ashley, we didn't eat the BBQ. You fool, you fool.) and the received a visit from MAD (Temporarily to be known as MAP, as D is now P for Pinky on account of the pretty pink cast on his broken leg).

We ended the day with a cake and singing Happy Birthday for JP's impending Birthday.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
