Smythville go to Redcliffe


We met up with the Lavery House at Redcliffe on New Years Day.

After a scenic trip through Mt Glorious and Samford we headed over to the Redcliffe Jetty to meet up with the Lavery House.

When we got there SML was fishing ( he was really only teaching some baby squid to swim )..

After a yummy chip sandwich for lunch we headed down to the beach for a dip.

The girls had fun on the boogie boards.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
