A day trip to O'Reilly's


We decided to go on a day trip today.

First stop was Food Fantasy at Jupiters for brunch.

Then the long and winding drive up the mountain to O'Reillys Plateau.

There is some really breathtaking views on the way up.

We started out with a little bird feeding.

Then a walk through the rainforest to the tree top walk. The girls and I climbed all the way to the top platform (30m above the ground).

Then a walk back through the rainforest to the car to start the long journey home.

We took a nice journey home via Canungra, Beaudesert and Boonah.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
