Today we went to Toowoomba for the "Carnival of Flowers"

It was the 60th anniversary of the Carnival of Flowers floral parade.

It was the longest parade we have ever watched.

Also, as usual we went to the Gardens and took our annual portrait of the girls.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
