Poor little Chicky

We were in the yard yesterday afternoon playing a bit of frisbee and
catch. CB as usual ended up on the ground a few times.

We had finished playing and had been upstairs for a good 10 - 15
minutes when CB can out of JP's room crying, saying that the necklace
she had in had hurt her neck and was burning. She did the usual fix
and went to the freezer and got the Ice pack.

5 minutes later she came bursting out of JP's room again crying her
poor little eyes out, saying that the neclace had got her again "lots".

Well, looking at her neck she had about 7 bite marks on her neck.
After a bit of searching (and hysterical screaming) we found the
culprit.

A nasty big GREEN ANT

Poor little chick, I felt soooo bad for her.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
