Our Afternoon at Queens Park

This afternoon we toddled off to Queens Park for Lunch.

Diner Beware, the kiosk has moved into new premises and while it is very nice and new, the price now reflects the cost of moving into the new place.

After lunch, we headed off to have a sticky at the animal enclosure before going down to the playground with the girls, who had a play on the flying fox and swings and spinning toys.

After an afternoon packed with fun we headed home, via 7-eleven for a slushie.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
