Dust Storm in South East Queensland

When we woke up this morning, Sunrise was showing pictures of Sydney in the middle of a dust storm blown in from South Australia and the Northern Territory.

By 9:30am the dust started appearing and then by 11am it looked like this.

Apparently this is not the same dust cloud that Sydney got hit with, this one was blown in from western Queensland (Charleville).

Will put up more shots later, to show it clearing.

First Day Back

Well, today is the day. The first day back at work after a 5 weeks off with the kids. You couldn't really call it a holiday though as we didn't go away anywhere. Surprisingly, I am actually not apprehensive about the return to work as the break was sufficiently long enough to clear my head of all the troubles and happenings of the past year. That and I enjoy the work I do, in the main.
